Tastes like death

The overall effectiveness of the product is definitely up for a toss. But certainly the taste of it is pathetic. Even after adding vanilla flavoring drops and a whole banana, the after taste is really nasty.

I have been having pea protein isolate (mango) for the past 8-9 months! I love the taste of mango and is just yum. I love it. My favourite protein-packed breakfast.

Goes Well With:

I mix it with water and make it thick like a dessert. I add fruit (sometimes to make it a complete meal), seeds, and nut butter with pea protein isolate.

Unflavoured does not taste as bad as hyped in the reviews. It just feels like drinking flour water with a hint of green peas. Much better in terms of smell and taste than whey. Light on the stomach too. Need to keep stirring or it settles at the bottom.

Boon to Vegans

Hi, My name is Anupam Dutta, a yoga practitioner. As a follower of Asthanga yoga practioner, we believe in the philosophy of NON-VIOLENCE. When I started my journey on this path I was vegetarian, later I turned and inclined towards Veganism. The physical practise in the Ashthanga yoga is very demanding. So can not compromise on meals which are enriched in protein. Being a vegan there are limited options. I tried other vegan protein supplements in the market but my review of myprotein is based on :- 1. Size of the scoop 2. Protein percentage 3. Flavour. Size of the scoop :- No any other vegan product in the market gives 22.3gms in one serving of 30gms. PROTEIN PERCENTAGE :- By far all of us know that it's a isolate protein. FLAVOUR:- When I started consuming the product, in India there was only availability of Unflavoured protein. Now thankfully in India team myprotein provides CHOCOLATE and MANGO flavour.

Being an Indian staying at home who wants to enjoy delicious home cooked food. Myprotein Pea Protein Isolate is a life saver.  I use Pea Protein Isolate to cook Chapati by mixing it with the Wheat and Oat flour. Chapati is one thing which I enjoy eating and doesn’t want to avoid them. I have it sometimes with tea and what not. You’re only limited by your imagination. It helps in keeping  my protein goals on track without having too much of carbs. If you’re vegan, you can mix this with water  and have it after your workout. Or you can use it to cook healthy and delicious meals just like me. Just remember if you enjoy your meals you’ll achieve your goals more quickly and efficiently.

Can be better in taste

Was quite keen on trying a vegan based protein powder however the pea protein is just not for me...it has a really strong, slight bitter taste (not the pleasing kind) and I tried taking it in milk and putting it in pancakes as well, to cover up the taste, but I just couldn't digest it. Had to pass it on to a friend who had the stomach (and the palate) to take it...so for anyone who gives importance to the taste of the protein powder (like me) you may wanna order a smaller quantity to try it first. Otherwise, the protein content looked impressive, and I'm sure it would've been effective had I been able to stick around with it for more than 4 days. :P

Actually the protein quality is good but the taste is really very bad .since it is plant based protein u cant expect good taste.i say it is better to go to whey protein.if u are lactose intolerant u go for whey isolate .whey isolate contains negligible amount of lactose which even lactose intolerant person can digest easily
